Tailored Dog Training Policies

Vaccinations

We adhere to vaccination guidelines set by the American Veterinarian Medical Association.

We allow puppies that:

  1. Have at least 1 vaccine given administered by a licensed veterinarian AFTER 7 weeks of age as sooner will be blocked by mother's antibodies.

  2. Are at least a week out from having received the vaccine.

  3. Are visibly healthy: bright eyes, alert, no diarrhea or vomiting or coughing.

If possible, email your vaccine records prior OR bring them in person to show your trainer first day of class.


Facility Operating Policies

PLEASE, no sick dogs in the facility. If your dog is coughing, sneezing, vomiting, or having diarrhea, please abstain from coming to class.

BEFORE CLASS TIME:

  • Wait for your class to begin by pottying your dog or waiting in the car or near the door in an orderly line fashion. To cut down on dog frustration, we don’t recommend allowing on leash play outside.

  • Please bring your walking tools that you are currently using. We do NOT permit E-Collars or Flexi-leads in class.

  • Make sure we have your vaccination records on file either prior to class via email or bring them to the first class.


Group Classes

For all group classes, we limit class attendees to no more than TWO handlers per dog. If you wish to include a "junior handler" (ages 9-17) who will be the primary handler/trainer for the dog, please email us prior to class for authorization.


Cancellations, Make-Ups, and Refunds

CANCELLATIONS: We require 48-hour notice via EMAIL for any cancellation or rescheduling of ANY group classes, puppy socials, or workshops. For a group class series, this policy applies before the first class meeting of the series.

MAKE-UPS: We do NOT offer make-ups for missed classes of any kind or reschedules of missed classes without 48 hours prior notice. If you are enrolled in a group class, you will get an email recap so you can keep current with the ongoing class.

REFUNDS: We require 48 hours advance notice via email for any cancellations or rescheduling. There are no monetary refunds for any cancellations within the 48-hour window or after the session has begun. There can be no transfer of group service value into private training, UNLESS it is a trainer recommendation due to reactivity or canine anxiety.
